Summary of functions
Under the general supervision of the head of department and the supervisor, the incumbent helps the cook to prepare meals according to the drafting of menus for residents, the cafeteria and the day center.
He/She weighs, measures and portions food according to appropriate methods, hygiene and sanitation rules and standardized recipes. She maintains the equipment used and cleans her work area.

You can be assigned to three sectors: production, distribution and the cafeteria

Production
- Assist cooks and kitchen assistants in their tasks
- Weigh food and spices
- Make sure to respect Kosher dietary laws regarding the use of the dishwasher
- Provide general kitchen assistance

Distribution
- Assemble meal trays for patients
- Ensure the transport and distribution of trays in the care units

Cafeteria
- Prepare and assemble meal trays
- Prepare the service area for mobile customers
- Maintain the cash register
- Respond to customer requests.

In addition, the maintenance of work areas and kitchen appliances (stoves, dishes, etc.) will be part of your tasks.
